Quote I needed to hear today....

So let me share it with you. :)

"Anyone who imagines bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he's been robbed.  The fact is that most putts don't drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, most jobs are more often dull than otherwise.  Life is like an old time rail journey...delays, side-tracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas, and thrilling bursts of speed.  The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."  Jenkins Lloyd Jones as quoted by Pres. Hinckley

I remember hearing that and having a huge "ah ha" moment! It's so true and its sad that it takes someone telling you to make you see it! But it does make you feel a little bit better about life as it is. =)

The best lines are "most children grow up to be just people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration" if people just realized that life would be less competitive, judgemental and people would fight to save their marriage. I think most people could be happy if they realized those simple things. GREAT QUOTE...again you always find the good ones. :-)
