So what do you do?

This is a question that I pose to all of you. But I'm sure that would leave a few of you too open ended so I better add a bit more on to it. I am currently in an exercise rut. I actually have created a phobia of the gym for myself and even as I type that I laugh because I was addicted to that place at one point. I guess the lines of moderation in all things got blurred for me. Anyway...have you found exercises or things to do that motivate you to keep exercising? I love to exercise. I love the feeling after I'm done...I'm just lacking excitement and motivate right now. I need to get back on the bandwagon soon and get going. I know that, and I will. I wish I was one of that didn't need to worry about it but I do. Also, because of crazy stomach issues that I have I have to have it in my life to help balance out my inability to eat the majority of healthy foods out there. Life on a low fiber diet is not fun...just trust me on that one. Anyway, I am looking for some suggestions of things to try...so start suggesting. :)

Also, if you are new to the blog and haven't commented before I would love to hear from you too. I'm nice, I like most everyone. Haha!

Thank you in advance!

I don't know how much help I could possibly be in answering your question as I am SO bad at sticking with anything, especially as the weather gets colder! During the summer I'm pretty good about going for a walk or riding my bike every day, but the kids help motivate me. So I guess I'd have to say whatever you decide to do, get a buddy to do it with you and help each other out! Good luck!

Love ya and miss ya!

I mix up the gym with Jillian's 30 Day Shred! I bought it on Amazon for $10. This is a good clip that shows all three levels: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuJcM93v9AY

You will definitely feel the burn. I'll bring it to B's wedding in a few weeks and we can do it together. Workouts are only 20 minutes. It's 3 minutes of strength 2 minutes of cardio 1 minute of abs for the whole 20 minutes - no stopping.

I also use Jillian's No More Trouble Zones.

The best way to stay motivated is to make and keep an excercise chart and food Journal. (That's What helps me) I put it on my fridge then that way when I go for a snack I think to myself..."did I earn this snack by excercising" or "do I really want to write this snack on my food journal."
Just record daily the excercises you did (and how long you excercised)...and keep track of all you eat in your food journal - that way it keeps you from meaningless snacking and helps you eat healthier.
Go to this website...they offer tons of help! I was told by a personal trainer that healthy weightloss is 80/20-- 80% Food/diet 20% excercise (so focus on your food and diet).

Wow I never thought I'd hear you say that! Nevertheless...I agree with the comment about keeping a journal. Only I don't keep a journal I just write on my calendar what excercize I did for the day. I usually go for a 2 mile walk everyday but lately I've been switching between walking and working out to a Turbo Jam video in my living room. The video is harder but it tones...but I still feel good if I just go for a walk. I guess you can say walking is my default when I don't feel like working too hard. =)
